Overview

As per provision of Assam Service Pension Rules, 1969, a Government employee who has gone an superannuation or died in harness is eligible for family, gratuity to the family of Government employee.

There is a provision of Special Family pension in respect of the family of the Government employee who died in harness till the date of retirement

Eligibility Criteria

He/she should be a government employee

He/she should go through a superannuation or die in harness

Documents Required

Legal heir/ NOC Certificate

Death Certificate

Application in prescribed format

Important Timeline

Special family pension are granted till the date of retirement of the employee

How to apply

An application should be forwarded to the Department attached with the documents prescribed.
